The River Bottom Ranch was built in 2002 and is the result of a life long dream to have my own barn and working facility. It has all the amenities; a hot-walker, a hot/cold shower stall, fly misters in each stall, heated automatic waterers, a large tack room with refridgerator and washing machine, a clubhouse/office, an observation deck that overlooks the round pen and the arena, and a sprinkler in the round pen for dust control. The round pen is lit for evening work and is adjoining the 120 x 220′ arena. We have a 10 stall barn, with 12 x 20′ paddocks, four shed-row corral combinations, and a loafing shed. The horses are turned out each day for several hours while the barn and paddocks are cleaned. Cleaning is daily and is impeccable. Each spring and fall we have a vet clinic, and once a year we have the brand inspector attend. In the winter we schedule events to keep the boarders involved with their horses throughout the year. One of the nice things about a smaller boarding facility is that the boarders are all friends and do many equestrian events together.
